At Inspiring Minds, tamariki are assigned a primary care-giver to ensure that strong relationships are established and nurtured. The centre has three rooms consisting of up to 8 infants, 8 toddlers and 16 three – five year olds. There are two kaiako in each room ensuring quality care is maintained. All kaiako hold a current teacher registration and have many years experience.

kaye - owner, 3+ Kaiako
Kaye works in the over threes. Kaye owns Inspiring Minds and works full time. She is a mother of five children and Nana Kaye Kaye to seven grandchildren, most of whom attend or have attended Inspiring Minds.

jaclyn - manager
Jaclyn is the manager at Inspiring Minds and has been there since the centre opened. Jaclyn lives in Oromahoe with her partner Adam and their three children Logan, Dylan and Lane

justine - Infant Kaiako
Justine works in the infant room. Justine lives in Pakaraka with her partner Paul and their children Emily and Harry. They also have two Springer Spaniels, Toby and Cooper.

meisha - 3+ Kaiako
Meisha works in the over threes. She is originally from Canada and sailed around the pacific for 9 years with her Mum, Dad and sister until arriving in New Zealand. She now lives with her husband and their three children. Meisha has been an Early Childhood teacher since 2001 and has been at Inspiring Minds since it opened in 2012.

toni - Toddler Kaiako
Toni works in the toddler room. Toni lives in Kerikeri and is married with three children and three amazing grandchildren. She has the pleasure of working in the toddler room. She is a dedicated and qualified early childhood teacher with a passion for children’s learning and care and has experience working in centres with children aged between 0-5 years.

Jenna - Infant Kaiako
Jenna lives in Kerikeri with her partner Ben, her son Franklin and her daughter Evelynn. She is passionate about providing an environment of love, care, community and respect. She looks forward to welcoming your child to this environment as their teacher here at Inspiring Minds. Jenna is currently on maternity leave.

Heather A - 3+ Kaiako
Heather A works in the 3-5 year old rūma. She is a Northland girl born and raised and lives on a beautiful lifestyle block with her husband Josh and their 4 daughters. Her experience as a mum has added another perspective to her understanding as a kaiako. She looks forward to getting to know your tamariki.

Teresa - Toddler Kaiako
Teresa comes from a whānau of seven being one of five sisters. She has three beautiful children: Caleb, Madison and Florence, and a loving fiancé Cohen. She loves spending time with her whānau at the beach, rivers, forests, paddocks and in the kitchen. She has learned and continues to learn just how amazing and capable children really are. She is committed to treating all those around her with love respect and kindness, creating an environment where you are accepted for all that you are and all that you come with. Teresa is currently on maternity leave.

brittney - volunteer
Brittney volunteers at Inspiring Minds. She helps the teachers and the support staff three days per week. Brittney lives in Kerikeri with her mum and dad. She loves to spend time with her family and dog Chip.

Krystal - Infant Kaiako
Krystal works in the infant rūma and is covering Jenna’s maternity leave.
Krystal is a qualified early childhood kaiako who has a passion for working with infants and toddlers. She has a Cavalier King Charles Spaniel, loves the outdoors and plays the bagpipes!

Polly - administrator
Polly works in the office supporting Jaclyn with administrative tasks.
Originally from the UK, she enjoys living in Kerikeri with her husband Andy and son Jago.
